Since I go many weeks without picking up my camera I figured something needed to be done about it. I have no illusions that I will actually do this ever day but I'll at least give it a try. Who knows, maybe I'll learn something along the way, or you might learn something about me.

There are no set rules for me to do this but I'll force myself to be in at least some of the photos since I'm never in any pictures.

Feel free to Comment on or Critique any of the images.

Yes it tasted as good as it looked. We've been eating so much this week I still feel like I could explode.

No0bs! Day one at the new job. So much to learn but everyone here's great and willing to help us out. I took this with my p/s even though my 40D was sitting in the bag on the ground next to me. I was just to tired to deal with it.

I got to San Jose fine and did a little shooting. The flight was uneventful and the hotel room is pretty nice. I did see some of the wildfires from the plane that are plaguing the area. The sky is pretty smokey but hopefully that will lead to some nice sunsets.

This is one I liked from today. A butterfly in IR. I haven't used my IR since fall of last year. I could hardly remember how to use the XT. I should really use this camera more often.

I'm packing up to go to California for a week. Heading out to SM headquarters for training. It should be fun and I'm looking forward to seeing the Smuggers I know and the rest of the Support Hero's that are in Cali.

As a side note, the Smug Sorcerers have really outdone themselves with the latest update. Especially the new Smug Vault. If you have no idea what I'm taking about check out the News tab in your control panel or check out the Release Notes Blog.

I got my Really Right Stuff BH-40 back today and it looks and works as good as new. It was extremely easy sending it back and no hassle at all to get it fixed. The repairs were covered under warranty and the only thing I had to pay for was shipping there and back. They would have paid the return shipping but I needed it back with 2-day Air since I'm going to California on Sunday. BH-40 how I missed you so!

I know these ball heads and the other equipment RRS makes is expensive but it really is a top notch company that makes incredible gear. I would whole heartedly reccomend it to everyone if you can afford it. It will last you forever.

Went to Wicker Park tonight for Skewers and Martinis. The food wasn't bad but maybe a little pricey. There was a cute french Bulldog sitting in a chair at a table outside though. That was amusing. Then we went to Chaise for Lounge to sit outside and have a martini but we got there as they were closing teh outdoor section. Instead we drank a martini inside. Very nice decor and good but expensive martinis. Next we went to Blue Fin Sushi Bar for half price drinks. As you can see we all had another martini. The Aloetini was a hit. It sounded a little wierd at first but was delicious. Then we jumped on the El and back out to the suburbs. It was a nice night to be outside

What triggers my brain to think "Hey it's 10:30PM at night, a perfect time to vacuum and then wash all the floors in my apartment!"? Especially when I still have wedding photos to process?

I got my prints that I ordered last week. I've only ordered one print before this and it was a pano that I couldn't do myself at home. I'm pretty impressed with the turn around. I placed the order late Thursday night well actually I think it was around 2AM Friday morning. The order was for 80 prints ranging in size from 11x14 to wallets. The order shipped on Friday which I wasn't expecting. I figured it would ship on Monday so I was quite happy about that. The paper is nice and the priint quality is great as I had expected it to be. I still like some things about my HP B9180 better but there are some aspects that the SmugMug prints win at. I'm pleased with the prints and just hope my customer will be also. I figure I'm pretty picky so if I'm happy they should be ecstatic.

Happy Birthday to me! I didn't feel like taking a new photo today so you get one from yesterday of my uncle's dog Sunshine. It was a good weekend. I could use an extra day off to catch up on sleep and do some laundry though.
